Smoking marijuana poses the same risks as smoking cigarettes. I have a relative who has been a life long pot smoker and is in recovery from throat cancer. He never smoked cigarettes, only pot.

Had an interesting discussion with my adult child based on this thread. We discussed the pros and cons, and the new studies coming out citing success with cannabanoids? Is that how it is spelled? Does anyone know how you obtain pot without THC in states where it is legal? Can you go to the same place that sells marijuana legally? Does it help relieve pain such as back ache? I am interesting in obtaining more information about marijuana that has the THC removed. If anyone knows anything or can provide links it would be appreciated.

I lived in So. California for over a decade and it was sort of like its own country. I am jealous of anyone who still lives there! Loved it.

Since obtaining 100% CBD marijuana will probably be impossible for you, I suggest looking into ejuice for vaping.

I am NOT a physician, so this is simply my personal opinion.
Do you know if marijuana that is 100% cannabidiol (CBD) is sold where marijuana is legal? How is this taken? Do you still have to smoke it? I think I saw where it was in liquid form. I am interested in in for lower back ache. I have used regular marijuana for this before and within two weeks my back ache was gone, but I now I don't want any THC is my body, and I don't actually like the marijuana high. It's too weird, and pot also causes its own kind of hangover, which I wonder is eliminated if it is 100% cannabidial.

I have read that it can produce paranoia. And medical marijuana is very different from street marijuana. Would be nice if medical marijuana would help...
