Booka seems to be obsessively rubbing her face and rolling over various surfaces, but even though she kinda likes to be pet she still isn't a cuddly cat...just... a very silly cat who is acting like she's in heat even though she was fixed a long time ago.

(oh! and she turned 2 years old recently! )

Aren't cats hilarious? They have different personalities just like people. One of my cats that is nearly a year old is quite a character. She thinks she is still a kitten and will race around the house like she is on speed. She has a specific pattern that she runs. Starts in the kitchen, through the dining room, to the living room then bounces on me and over the top of my chair and into the the closet. Then repeat.

Kaika, is this a new behavior for your cat? Sometimes they rub their faces and roll because of allergies.

Yoda, somewhere my husband and I heard the running through the house called the "evening crazies". The name stuck. Every night around 10PM Sambeckett and his sister Mir would tear from one end of the house to the other until either they were tired out or one of us yelled at them to knock it off. Nothing like just dropping off to sleep and have two crazed cats tear across you as they carren through the house.

I pulled out a chair for her next to me last night in case she wanted to jump up on the computer desk. Instead she decided it was time to go to bed and slept next to me. It was adorable

It wouldn't surprise me if it was allergies, but it's not all of the time, just every once in awhile. (Speaking of allergies, I am really allergic to something in my room. Not fun )

i have workked as a groomer at a vet clinic for 10 1/2 years. and we have had strays who become our mascots. like small roomates. the biggest cat we have now is skipper-do. he was turned over by his owner because they were moving and couldn't keep him. he was up for adoption but people wanted kittens instead of adults. even though he is huge for a cat most people who come in never see him because he lays near the window all day, perfectly still. we have 5 mascot cats right now and they all have different ways of acting. one of the cats belongs to the owner of the business and that cat knows her mommy is in charge. Lil B (cause she has a beauty mark on her cheek) is the one who cuts on the water faucets, bounces on keyboards, and smacks at the clients. any way... many of the cats hit a cute stage where they feel left out and want more attention. it doesn't have to be a lot of attention.

that's okay, I think it's because the AC filter isn't clean so it's spewing dust and pollen and stuff into the room because I'm fine when it's not on!

Oh, and now her mom is being silly. She's on the computer desk like usual (she likes to sleep here and be in close petting range) except this time she's decided that the mouse make a very good toy/pillow...she's laying on top of the chord to make it hard to move and she's got her paw on the right click button and tries to keep me from wiggling it around lol
