i have an australian sheperd/mutt named annabelle ^_^
she is like 9 years old? about
i miss her so much when i'm at school!
i also have a calico cat named dressi, who is 16, but she still looks young
haha actually both of them look and act like babies, but in a good way, not a spoiled way
you know why its so much easier for me to hang out with animals than it is with people? my pets have helped me survive all the pain of growing up. when my parents or brothers made me cry (well usually my mom lol)
one of them would find me and try to make me smile in their own ways
its true that, people are more 'important' than animals, but i find animals alot easier to be with. when i consider what sort of job i should get a degree for, i freak out, because i do like helping people to an extent, like maybe teaching or psychology, but at the same time, i can be horribly anti social.
like in my dorms, theres only 2 friends i have, and they have even been blowing me off lately.
so, if i had a career of working with animals, i just feel scared that its 'not good enough'

I used to have an Australian Shepard when I was younger, we had to put her down though because she was aggressive.

My dogs (and most other dogs as well) seem to have a calming influence on me as well, whenever I'm around a friendly dog I feel so much better and at ease.

My parents & I have, & always have had, a dog. They make the best pet! I think they make the best kind of friend. Animals are important, too.

Would you be able to possibly volunteer at an animal shelter or vet to see if you'd like a career in working with animals? I wish you well!
