I woke up from a nap earlier, opened my eyes, and was greeted by big green ones about six inches away, lol ...my oldest seems to have figured out awhile ago what a pillow is for and that he likes to use it sometimes in the same way I do. Anyone else's cat sleep like a human?

Sure. Alex sleeps like a human. Sometimes he even goes under a blanket.

Oh, yes; there have been plenty of times when I've woken to kitty's heads on my pillow; there have been times when I wa awake and saw my kittys laying just like people on my bed! A couple of times, I've woken up with a kitty head on my shoulder.

Yes, mine often lay next to me on the pillow. One thing my princess does, which just swells my heart, she lays on my chest with her head over my heart, and puts her right paw up on my shoulder. She hugs me. I'm so happy we have these loving companions.

I forgot to add that my same cat sleeps tucked in under a blanket sometimes...I have to try not to giggle at him, esp if his paws stick out the top, because it's much too cute.

Dobby will sleep with his head on my pillow. Callie likes to lay on the pillow draped over the top of my head. I call it "cat hat."

Yes, mine does. Sometimes he curls up next to me and wraps his tail round my head, and sometimes he shoves me off the pillow so he can have it to himself... We've also found him lying down on the sheet, head on the pillow, like a human, which is funny as my H's childhood cat used to do the exact same thing.

My kitty used to sleep on the pillow between me and first h. We all had dark hair - she was tortiseshell - so she looked like our little kid. It was weird in a way but cute. Like she just assumed the position. Who knows what they're thinking? Is it really comfy for their necks or are they imitating us or what??

sometimes the cat will sleep on his side like a human, with his arms under his head.

I like to wake cat up, cos they're all deflated, then you pick them up and they wake, and stretch their arms out. It's good to watch.
Thanks for this!

Not my cat (he prefers boxes and baskets - he actually has a little basket that was once a bath set gift basket that he sleeps in), but my dog does! When I'm in my room studying or playing WoW, she'll give me a "look" and I know that look. I generally keep my pillows propped against the headboard (so I can have something soft against my back, of course) but when she gives me that look I know to move and place the pillows there so she can crawl there, lay her head on the pillow, and catch some Zz's.

I, also, toss and turn when I'm trying to sleep a lot. I know that if I want to keep my pillows I can't roll to the other side of the bed. My dog sees this as an invitation for her to take over my pillows.

My kitty does 2 things: sleeps like human, using the pillow for his head and shoulders and likes to be covered up or he sleeps almost on my head, backed up to my face and chest using my arm as a teddybear. In the early hrs he will turn and use my cheek as his pillow. Truly the best part of my day. Bfs past or future (though Im not interested anymore) sleep on the floor haha.

My cat has recently taken to snuggling up under the covers between me and my H like he did when he was a kitten. Makes it hard to cuddle though!

He also likes to sleep on a shelf with his head dangling off the end. Cats are weird.

ok I don't have one with him on a pillow, but it is a blanket folded up and he is using it as a pillow

As usually who knows how long I will leave the attachment but such a cute shot.

My cat, used to sleep on top of the pillow, as a kitten. The other day, I woke up to her curled up next to me, head on my arm. My arm, was her pillow. She's really the sweetest thing, but she's confusing me, the level of affection she's either craving or giving me, this week...

Lots of kitties on pillows...mine too. She's a very gentle black and white long hair with beautiful, big round eyes. She sleeps on hubs pillow when my favorite dog has his head on my pillow. If he's snuggling under the cover, she just walks over him
