I felt I had to post this today. I am so so lost as I had to put my best friend down today. I know a lot of people don't appreciate animals, but I do. I prefer them to people. They never lie, they love you unconditionally and are loyal to their core. My baby girl was 15, nearly 16 and was everything to me. She too had some issues throughout her life. She had a lot of aggression and was incredibly feisty. She was my baby, so was perfect in my eyes. I accepted her, and she accepted me. Who will accept me now? She had no agenda, no ulterior
 motif, just me. I loved you Squig & always will. 1999 - 2014. (Border collie) ;

I am so sorry to hear it!! My heart goes out to you! Animals are amazing. I also prefer them to people!! Stay strong! I know how hard it is but you'll get through it! Hugs!

Words aren't enough at times like these. I feel like you do about animals and while I have two that are 14, I know that the time with them is growing to a close.
My heart goes out to you. I know what a lose like that means. I've lost several beloved furbabies in my life. Just know that it takes time to get through the grief. I am so sorry for your loss. I've gone through this and it is every bit as difficult as losing a human loved one.
