Little Lucy has passed on tonight. I know my dear bird of 9 years is with Jesus now. I pet her and kissed her as she took her last breath in my hand.

i've lost budgies.
i said when they passed, i just don't understand it... how can they be so happy 1 minit, and then the next minit a pile of feathers at the bottom of a cage it's so sad |

I am so sorry for your loss. I have lost many pets over the years and you'd think it would get easier.
Feel what you need to feel for as long as you need to feel it. Thinking of my pets playing, running, flying, and waiting for me at The Rainbow Bridge is comforting
