Isaac is here now, he is a kitten. He is everything Jimi isn't. Hes brave, curious and cuddly. I even saw Jimi being out and I was awake, that has never happened. Jimi just locked eyes and looked at me. I feel it might be good. Isaac is a super good kitten, not a total nuicance, haha.

Isaac has changed names but I'll refer him as Isaac still. He walks up to where Jimi hides and Jimi hisses. I've never seen agression from him. It's super good he has some, because he only showed flight. Agression is a a start of healthy bravery. I love my lil Jimi so much. I just look at him and feel love. So I hope things will continue to go forward as it did. I don't care if it takes time. And of course I will love Isaac with time as well. He's so cute.

Jimi and Isaac like each other. They don't cuddle but they eat side by side. Jimi is coming out to eat in my room which is progress. He can be in the room with me. I just let him eat and will not approach him. I guess I can move the food nearer me with time. It's so cool he comes out from hiding to be in the room. I think Isaac helped him be braver.

Jimi and Isaac are now best friends. They play, sometimes a little rough because Jimi is bigger. But he seems to not know what to with it since he never had the upper paw in his entire life. But they are happy and they play and then they just quit when they are bored. They interact very healthily. I am so glad I got Isaac. He lies on me and he has no fears. Jimi comes in at night and tries to walk up to me, but turns around and runs. But I can see he wants to, because he sees Isaac and me interacting so he knows I'm not that bad. Right now I am very happy with the dog and cats, it feels like a nice pack. The dog and Isaac plays a lot, Jimi and the dog don't play but they show a lot of respect and no fear. I miss my 7 year old cat that passed suddenly, I think of him a lot. In a way I feel like I betray him by having other cats, I wish I could have had him longer.

@-jimi-
Sorry for the loss of your 7 year-old cat, yet I have a feeling this cat would definitely approve of your being so good to the others and the pooch. You're a good parent!! |

The next thing is to prevent him from using his room where he can hide, or I will never be able to catch him. He needs to ne neutered.

He is in my room when I'm asleep and he lays on the other chaise. Last night he was just beside where I sleep and I woke up. He is interested in me but still scared. I'm proud of him. I am also happy about Isaac because he is a social and fun cat that I wouldn't have known if not for Jimi.

Now he is extra miffed. I drop cat food behind the couch so he can eat. He had his nuts taken today. And since he is not used to be outside at all and in other places, it was traumatic. I hope with testo levels going down that he will be a little less stressed. I think its probably bad to be genetically a high testo cat and so shy and was lowest in rank in his old house. His face is so male face its funny, he has huge testo cheeks.

We've actually been on vacation, me, Jimi, Isaac, doggo, and some friends and their doggo. I got a place for myself and the cats, Jimi was no more or less shy, Isaac is always brave and adapts. I'm home a while and Jimi sometimes lies and grooms on the other side of the sofa, if I am online. Then he knows I will be still. I'n not allowed to pet. I wonder if I will ever be.

Jimi wanted to come near me to get some food on the floor. He comes quite near. Today he almost came up to me without wanting food. He is so pretty.
Isaac is still acting like a kitten, he is, hasn't entered puberty, but he is now huge. He is bigger than a normal housecat, I knew he was going to get big, but not that big. I know Americans are used to big cats, but here they are rare. He will be about 8 kilos, which is twice as much as a Scandinavian house cat. __________________ |

Whoa! I had to convert kilos to pounds. You're right. 8 kilos is a big cat, even in the States.

My Mikey is part Maine Coon. He is a big boy, but not as big as Issac. Is Issac a talker? Mikey is.
