You need a good coaster ride and some sand between your toes.

Sand between my toes does wonders for me, and the sound of the ocean.

I could lay on a balcony somewhere and just listen to the surf! when I go to the beach I always try to get an oceanside room so I can leave the sliding door open at night just to listen. *sigh*

Hey, I hope your doing better. It sounds like you do need to go to the beach, and have sometime for yourself.

((((((((Kimmy))))))))) Take care of yourself get the rest you need.

Me I dont get exhausted very often. On of the things I do when I float in la la land on my musical clouds is sleep. or at least relax. I have actully surprised my past therapists before I was diagnosed with DID in that I can go for a week or two without actually physically going to sleep. I just slip into la la land for a bit and come back refreshed and ready to go. Since I wasn't mentally connected to my body when I was off in la la land its like I have slept. Its like when I go to the dentist and end up with about 5 different novacane shots. mecause my brain switches from memory piece to memory piecewhen at the dentist I may get the novacane #1 but switch into the memory piece of mary that did not get a novacane shot and I react as if #1 shot had never been given because physically I am in the past memory not the present where the shot was given kind of thing. I always come back from la la land a bit foggy but refreshed. You might say my mental safe place is also my mental vacation place too. LOL and it sure does help in hard times to take those mental breaks.

hang in there

Thanks so much everyone. I'm maintaining, but better. Right after I posted this, we had the scare with my big girl. I'm just really coming down from that. Slowly but surely...

I appreciate the support so much.

Myself, yes "going inside" helps me much but I haven't had the alone time to do that and am suffering because of it. Now that the little man is going to bed earlier (with no nap), I'm finding time to go inside and it's helping greatly.
