My husbands condition has became worse. He is now in a wheel chair because he can't walk. The doctors can not find anything physically wrong with him that are causing these problems. They think that he has a conversion disorder. The doctors told me that until he hits rock bottom that he will not get better. I just can't take the stress of caring for him and our daughter. Its like taking care of two babies. Sometimes I wish that he really would have a stroke and die so this will all end. I feel sooooo very guilty for thinking this. I just want some other family to step in and help.

Hello I hope htings are better at this time. has your husband been tested for shingles or the virus for shingles? The virus can cause the same symptoms that your husband is having, and chronic fatigue as well, he may need to be tested fo Epstein barr virus that causes mononeucleosis (MONO) and it is treatable as well. I hope the best for you I really do. Take care Soidhonia

My heart goes out to you. I do question what the doctors mean by he needs to hit rock bottom. It sounds like he has. Have they done rule out test? It could truly be a physical conditon. He could have organic brain disorder. I know how trying it is for the "caregiver", but I wish someone was able to find a physical reason for the both of you.

I completely understand not having other family members to assist in the care. Hold tight!
