My boy's sick

An hour after he got home from mama and daddy's he was spiking a temp of 102. It came back this a.m. at 102.6 but motrin got it down to 100.6.

I hate for my little man to be sick. He doesn't hurt anywhere (except in gut when fever's up), and is eating and drinking.

I'm concerned because they have a friend who's children were in children's hospital (one in ICU) with pneumonia from a virus. His only symptom is a cough (appearing to be in throat and not lungs...he's not tight at all).

I hope he feels better today.

Poor little guy is obviously fighting off some kind of virus. I know that pneumonia has been horrible this year. A lot of people have come down with it, like my daughter for one. She thought it was just a bad cold, went to the docs when it didn't clear and her lungs started hurting when she was breathing. They told her she has A-typical pneumonia and to be very careful because many folks were being hospitalized for it.

I pray it's not pneumnoia.....and that he is up and feeling full of sunshine very very soon! Good luck
