Has anyone known anyone diagnosed concurrently with Borderline Personality Disorder and Bipolar Disorder? I know that there is debate that BPD contains some kind of subthreshold bipolar depressive mixed state, but I was wondering if there was actually anyone out there diagnosed with both. Thanks

I am diagnosed with both. The book Lost in the Mirror really helped me, it describes the lack of identity, that life is a series of snapshots instead of a continual moving picture,as if you are floating through space with no sense of up or down and no map to show either origin or destination. It is written for the style of the borderline, with descriptive dramatic language..well I have both and I am doing good as of Tuesday I am working full time. It has me a little overwhelmed, yet I am also maintaining a new relationship too. I rely on my faith also. I'm just trying to see me as God sees me, because being borderline means I cannot see myself the way others do.

i am currently diagnosed with bipolar and have been diagnosed with borderline tendicies. which will soon be turned into borderline personality disorder.

I'm diagnosed with both, bipolar and borderline personality disorder. I also have ADD/ADHD??, maybe an anxiety disorder, and paranoia. idk yet about those...but anywho,
I'm just all over the place but eventually i am getting better... any other questions..feel free to ask!
