There are so many different ways of looking at the same person.

There are some people who perhaps most people would agree on, in their hearts. But they have different methods of expressing their agreement.

There are some people who are almost polar opposites to different viewers.

Who is correct? Which way is correct?

Who is right? Which way is right?

Does this path/route in the forest lead out of the forest, or further into the darkness? ?

Yes, it can all be so confusing!! ?

I guess one can only truly know their own heart and hold onto their values and beliefs. (is that what you meant by your post, Sky?)

I struggle with this too: what is correct, who is right...... I wonder, is my reality-- wrong?????? **sigh**

Each person has their own truth. When we were young we didn't know anything but ONE TRUTH and that was that! Perhaps that's all our parents knew, or maybe they knew this but with a different word?

But the word "wrong" is another word that I rarely use now. It seems so...judgmental ? (often anyway) (It goes with "bad" I think.)

We each have our own path, and what is the most correct for us, the best way to approach things... but there are many ways to go... and they can all be good and true for us... but not for another. My truth is not your truth. What is best for me, or even just good for me, might not be good for you at all.

My cave is welcome to you if you would like to visit...... I am both relieved and sad that you can relate ?

What I mean is, sometimes I wonder if I am nuts. But then the reality (?) dawns on me. I am NOT nuts.

It sounds like someone has been studying Søren Kierkegaard. The basis of his philosophy is that each person must discover his or her own truth, and your own truth is what matters to you.

There is not one way that is correct or incorrect, or one person who is right or wrong. Your path will lead into the darkness if you are bound to discover absolute truths, our out of the forest if you are able to recognize individual truth, and find your own truth while allowing others their own individual truth even if it is different from yours. You'll agree on some things and not others.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kierkegaard

Kierkegaard was the first existential philosopher, and his ideas are a foundation for existential psychology. I hope that it's okay to refer to him. He was also a theologian, so this, like most concepts in philosophy, involve spirituality and belief (or lack thereof). The whole point, though, is that you have to find what you believe in, not just adopt someone else's beliefs.

? Venting. Growling. Whining. Which is correct.

Which is "bad".

Is I being sensitive bad? Is being sensitive and posting bad.

No, I will shut out my thoughts. Shut out my childhood abuse.

I found a magic wand. I'll whisper a spelll.

And all my bad thoughts are gone.

All my thoughts and plans to damage and destroy my body will be gone.

Um.

It doesntt work like that.

Fighting for ME, to keep alive.....and trying are what matter.

"I am the way, the truth and the light"

??????

Source to be confirmed. Bear, please remember to check your sources first if you think that you might not have been the first person saying this. Saying this anyway anyhow any time (a song?) It's a wild world. You aren't the biggest bear in the jungle. Don't get eaten (alive)

And, when you are a bear cub. Make sure you don't post or talk unless...... unless what. Who is to be trusted??I

If something is a coincidence. It is a coincidence. You, bear, are the one who knows your own mind. I certainly hope so GGGRRRRRRRRRRR

It's hard trying to make sense of it all, isn't it.... I think we all struggle with that to an extent. I can easily identify with a few of your points above...

I admire you for being able to post or vent or growl about how you feel. And I think you should continue to do so if it helps at all and/or makes you feel any better.

Other than that, I am just nuts ? Am I the only one.... NOPE ? ?

Appear, peer, pear, tear.

Fuzzy-b, your quote: " I am the way and the truth and the life." is biblical - John 14:6.
