Strongly tempted to go into 'isolationist' mode and give this place a wide berth.

Hugs hugs and more hugs, I hope you stick around I think you are having an off day as not many people are posting at all and you are taking it personally when it really is not aimed at you.

That can make me feel insecure admittedly but that in itself wasn't what's really got to me and upset me.

Hi teejai, #
I saw these posts of yours and felt I had to jump in and answer.
I went through all the stuff you're describing, and still do. So thank you for disclosing it all.
When I first found this place last summer, I jumped in with my whhole heart and was in need of responses and replies like I was so, so, needy. It was like walking on broken glass, I always felt rejected, I felt I killed threads dead, I cant tell you how difficult and painful it felt. then I announced I was leaving, and didnt Feeling upset but I did withdraw a bit, I had to take some of my emotional investment away. I was wishing others needed me as much as i needed them, ........ but evidently they didnt! Feeling upset

I just wanted to give you some strength - as if I had any to give Feeling upset

but really, thanks for sharine what you just did, I recon it took courage huh??
now i'm curious about what happened in the anxiety forum.
oh, and you seem to have loads of answers to these last 2 posts dont you recon??
now I hope you say something back to me cos otherwise I'll be feeling like you were when you first opened up this subject LOL, and now I've REALLY left myself exposed!! Feeling upset

Let's just say i felt invalidated which tends to heighten my propensity for emotional over sensitivity and hyper reactivity.

In the words of an old Kitty Kallen song though not in the manner she meant sometimes 'Little things mean a lot.'
