About two months ago I went to a psych clinic and got psych testing done. They gave me six tests: the MMPI, the MCM, an ink blot test, an IQ test, TAT, and one other but I cannot think of it right now. Anyway my results came back last week. They are as follows:

My axis I was bipolar NOS (not otherwise specified for those who don't know)

My axis II was borderline personality disorder and narcissistic personality disorder. No suprise there.

My axis III was no medical problems, I am medically perfect.

My axis IV I cann't remember what that one was.

My axis V was my global functioning scale and mine was 50/100 meaning I can half-way function lol.

They also said I was sexually aggressive. It probably didn't help that I hit on the guy who did my psych eval... I mean he was FINE.

I was gone a month and nobody noticed.. *tears.*

And go talk this over to your Doc/whatever so proper medications/actions will be given out to you. Goodluck!

Wow 90mph, that's cool that you have such a detailed dx. Were you inpatient during the tests? if so for how long? Just wondering. I'd like to know that much about myself, but I know some people would opt not to know. How do you feel about 'knowing' all that (having it on paper)?

Glad you are back and posting!

NPD and BPD at the same time?

That's rather odd. I don't think I've ever heard of the two going together.

They seem rather contradictory, in the sense that someone with NPD usually wants to dominate others and someone with BPD is more concerned with being loved and cared for.

Hi hrcj1,

I don't think this is so odd. Looking just a little bit deeper, both fits wonderfully together. Dominating behavior is a symptom on the surface, not the essence of NPD - so far my observation and conviction.
