Death, pain, suicide, life--Is there a cure for any of these?

by asking if there is cure, one assumes the existence of a disease.. some enlightened masters practice a meditation focused on the complete absence of disease... there is some debate about its effectiveness but the practitioners themselves seem to live highly disease free existences... of course practical health behaviors accompany the practice of the meditations so we can expect a certain degree of overall health improvement at the least...

There is quite a debate in the MH realm as to whether any mental illness is a disease or a condition. I say it is both. As a matter of fact I did a thesis on it in college and most people agreed with me. Take Schizophrenia or Alzheimers for examples, These are both progressive (have different stages), which by the way if you think about it, can define any of the afflictions listed in the DSM.

Anyway, was just rambling.
