Hello,

I was wondering whether anyone can tell me if those with pds are taking or benefitting from any natural mood enhancers, such as 5htp and natural endorphin supplements? My pd person refuses, but I have benefitted greatly from them.

Thank you,
Louisa

Hi!!!

I've been using Valerian to help me relax - instead of drugs (ie. xanax) it's very calming. It helps me w/ anxiety during the day & falling to sleep at night.

When I get bad headaches I use a Gingo & Ginger mixture (exact combination on bottles) the best ever!!

Wishing You Lots of Sunshine,
Holmes!
Thanks for this!

Holmes,

Sorry, still getting used to posting on here. Thanks so much for your response, and I am glad to hear that you are having good results. I take valerian at night as well.

Take good care,
Louisa

I take St. John's Wort, Kava, and sometimes Valerian, Chamomile, and various other herbs. I think it helps, probably as much as prescriptions would. With PDs meds of any kind just treat the symptoms. It's up to the person to change the patterns behind the symptoms.

I find that learning about what is going on is a natural anti-depressant.
