Just as long as it isn't YOU you're hating. PTSD is a beast of a disorder...but it's not your fault you suffer with it.

Thanks for all of the support you buys

I kind of regret putting down PTSD and survivor of CSA but enough people online have encouraged me that if it bothers me then it is real, and with my T right now saying I need more help then he can give and trying to find a different one he can refer me to ... I guess he feels the same way

right now I'm just trying to move on with my life I wish I could just postpone all of this crap until I was older... but then again maybe it will work out that way seeing as how I still don't remember having a near-death experience when I was 6... and that was 12 years ago....

Maybe in the meantime after this episode you can stay proactive and work on a list of grounding techniques and a list of stuff that calms you. I hope this passes quickly.

I hope you are feeling better today,

I know it sucks to have to work through it all, but things come up as we are ready to deal with them, I've found that just working with whatever memories or emotions come up is the best way to handle it.

Nuckingfutz has a great idea on making a list of grounding techniques and calming things.

for me I've found keeping a comfort object around helps, I have a little stuffed ox, and a stuffed cheetah that really calm me, when I start having icky body memories I get one of them and focus on how the fur on them feel, what about them I like, what color they are, where I got them and so on, slowly it helps take the focus off of the body memories I am experinceing.

Sending lots of peaceful thoughts and hugs
