i am just wondering if there are any particular signs that one may go through indicating that a memory is trying to surface? i was told last week by my t that i'm suffering from a complex form of ptsd. i've had this dx for years, but am only now beginning to deal with it. i know everyone is different, and things come about differently for everyone. i'm just wondering if there are any similarities in how this stuff comes about?

please please help here if you can. thank you

, I would think if a memory is suffering you would become more sensitive to triggers, or suddenly become afraid of a ceratin place, object person?

I"m sorry I'm not more help, please remember to be kind to yourself during this time and let us know how you are doing

Best Wishes

I repressed my rape since the age of 13. I'm now 46. Memory resurfaced in 2005. The mind can do amazing things. It's a very scary time. Support, therapy, family and friendds are very important now.
Best of Luck!
