Ugh

Drove head on into incoming traffic yesterday, on a very busy street in downtown Tampa.

I took a left into three lanes of fast moving traffic.

Horns blaring.

Arms waving.

Mouths swearing.

Looks of astonishment as people screeched to pull over like they do when an ambulance needs to get through. I panicked and took a quick left to get out of the way, and of course it was onto another one way street. Luckily it wasn't as busy.

I'm trying to convince myself that it's because I wasn't paying attention because, c'mon, I'd NEVER do something dangerous like that on purpose.

But it felt like the car was on auto-pilot... Ugh

Ugh

(((((((((((( Petunia )))))))))))) Ugh

Please don't give yourself a hard time about this. Be gentle with yourself.

PTSD!

I was in a job a few years ago where it was a requirement to wear a hat. I walked into the room and everyone started shouting and yelling at me.

At that point I shut down. When I came too, I said to these people, "What?"

They said that they had been trying to tell me to put a hat on! I said, "Oh!" And went and did it.

The point is that - the shouting and yelling caused me to shut- down. PTSD

NO! You did'nt do it on purpose.

Thinking of you.

Awwwwww, Petunia! How very scary! I am glad you are OK. And no, it's not your fault.

Much love,

WOW I'm also glad you're safe! (and everyone else in your path Ugh ) Sounds to me like you are going too fast in your therapy also! Time to slow down. Whether it's what's going on in an office, or what you are thinking about and going through at home... time to slow down. IMO this is a clear indicator for that need. Ugh I know. I've been there. (And could easily return, bu have to pace, allow the T to pace.)
