I don't know how to get rid of this last trauma. I don't know how to stop thinking about it.
To those who suffers from PTSD: Do you sometime feels it's going to happen again? Do you get anxious because you feel trap like you were trapped? Do you feel if this ever happens again you will still not be able to defend yourself? Do you think of it every day? Sometime I get mad at myself and I think : "Come on now get over it. You must learn from it." But then I see it all over again and it hurts so much. Thank you! |

Yes to all.
Intrusion is one of the main elements of PTSD that makes it such a beast. Sometimes it helps to set aside time to dwell on it, and then tell your brain, ok no more today. Sometimes it helps to only distract yourself when the mind wants to stay on the fear and triggers. You need a T to help you find how best YOU can work through all this. What you are experiencing is common and "normal" for PTSD. ((((time0)))
