My girlfriend of almost 2 years suffers from PTSD and has recently stopped taking her meds about 5 months ago because she thought she was ok. but her symptoms are getting out of hand and she cant get to the doctor for another 16 days. its taking a toll on our relationship and is getting really hard to handle. if anybody has any advice on what i can do to make it a little easier on the both of us it will be greatly appreciated

Firstly, welcome to the forums I hope you find what you're looking for here.

I think it would really depend on what her symptoms are and the effects they are having? The best thing I would suggest you can do is be there for her as much as you can but also be honest. If you can, talk to her about what is concerning you and ask her what you can do to help her get through this time. Together you might be able to come up with a plan to help manage some of the symptoms.

Also, if possible remember to take some time for yourself. It is great that you are supporting her but make sure you still look after yourself as well.

Good luck I really hope that when she has her next doctors appointment they can help.

Welcome, it was nice to see you in chat last night. Chat is a great place to ask questions, vent or come just to give your mind a break. Hope some of the suggestions I had last night help at least a little. I can so relate to the situation you are dealing with. I applaud you for reaching out on behalf of your gf and taking an opportunity to reach out and receive help for your self as well. Hope to see ya around again some time soon. Keep your head up, Keep working on things, it has to get better.
