... I was doing better. I know, just a temporary setback - I hate the post-nightmare mornings, it just leaves me feeling "blech", can last most of the day.

This one was about "losing everything" and dear old dad was a lead character in it. So, it has left me feeling sad, anxious, and jumpy.

Today is a rest day from training, so I won't be able to just work it off. Mental diversion - that should work. I know, it's just one day, it will be ok.

I still hate f****** nightmares.

I like to view my nightmares as training sessions. I might be facing a miserable upsetting situation with people I know... but hey, at least I can see how I handled it. It sometimes lets me know what I need/want to work on!

If they don't involve people I know, then I find the humour in them or opt to be proud of my brain for it's creativity and that if I really wanted to I could probably make millions in hollywood as a script writer!

Nightmares are the worst! So sorry you had to deal with what sounded like a very frightening one!

I suffer from nightmares every night, i sometimes wake up thinking they really happened and have to tell myself it was only a dream, my husband sometimes has to wake me up from them because i'm crying or screaming. Then he tells me it was just a dream or nightmare and i think about it and know it was a dream.

I have sort of flashback moments at times, not that I think I'm there, but "emotional flashbacks" -- I have to remind myself it's 2014, and not "back then". Still creeps me out, though.
