I'm on a 7 week medical leave of absence from work for PTSD, depression, and anxiety.

Today was my first day off, although, because it's a Saturday, I would have had it off anyhow.

I'm really proud of myself. I know it's just a baby step, but I actually got up, showered today, and cooked myself meals, and cleaned up after myself. I actually behaved somewhat like a normal person.

To some people it might seem like a small accomplishment. But just being able to care enough to do that much, is huge for me.

((seesaw)),

That really "is" an accomplishment, especially with how you were down in your last thread. For anyone who struggles with PTSD in this forum, your getting up and taking care of yourself, yes, that is considered very good and it is a big deal.
