Hey, that's good, Jane, I'm glad the fog is lifting a bit, I know that feeling.

Your son sounds like a sweet little guy, good for him.

I have just about completely wrapped up outdoor gardening. I have a little kale and some collard greens, leeks, and ripening persimmons and that is about it. It snowed here, just a dusting, last night, it is exceptionally, record-setting, cold across most of continental North America, an early season polar outbreak, so I fear another cold winter. Enjoy the spring garden, Jane. I'm going to get some pots of soil and plant peas, kale, radishes, broccoli, and arugula seeds indoors to use for micro-greens, those are all tasty in salads and are stupid-simple to do.

We have the last of the fall color here, some maples, pears, and a few other things hanging on in reds, yellows, oranges, burgundies. And a few snow flakes. I'm grateful for the seasons. Gotta prep my snow bike this weekend.
Thanks for this!

I am grateful for:

Doctor Who,
music,
grounding strategies (even when they don't work, at least they use up time).

Jane, if you can get some, try mixing a tablespoon of local raw honey with a teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice and slowly eat it over a few minutes - kind of lick it off the spoon - it soothes a sore throat pretty well. Raw honey is great for a lot of things.

I am grateful for:

my T calling me today to help me ground when everything i've tried was failing (have been in a flashback-filled, triggered state for nearly a week and realised i really needed to hear his voice - next time i'll ask him to call after the first day, rather than the sixth!),
my care manager's kindness and support,
my child's cuddles and laughter,
sunshine.

Today I'm grateful

That I was able to nurture the poor wee bird that was exhausted in my yard, and watch it fly away later by itself

For financial support from the govt whilst I study

For a bumper early crop of strawberries, my boy loves to pick them and have on his breakfast every day
Thanks for this!
