Public Libraries.
State Universities.
Private property.

And a strong enough ego to be able to accept a very circumstantial change in politics.
Thanks for this!

Murphy Oil Soap.
Gloves.
A good stepstool and longhandled cleaners

Spiders. They seem overjoyed to run across a just cleaned shelf. They dance. I dont have the heart to sweep them away.

I have moments of joy too. Its all just impossibly golden and lovely.

You know what? I used to post gratitude (5 things) every night on Facebook before I turned in.

Some of my FB "friends" loved it - some even started doing it themselves.

Now that is contagious!

3 things I am grateful for tonight: What few wonderful souls that are hanging in there with me right now (and there aren't many! But the ones that are - I'm grateful for them!)

I'm grateful I found this forum. I like it already more than I thought I would.

And I'm grateful for my therapist who does not give up on me (although sometimes I can't figure out why not!) - I keep telling him when therapy is finished, he needs to take a world cruise and write a book! (he tells me I'm very funny, but what would be even funnier is if he did!) LOL

I am also glad it's the weekend and my child is away so i don't have to pretend to be 'fine' when i am nowhere near fine.

Loppers. I lop and lop and lop.
Lopping makes me pleasantly tired, and relaxed. Dad was right. It's the cure.
Hot showers.

Today I'm grateful for.....

A phone call from son, just when I was thinking about him and missing him

Laughing with my best friend, instead of crying

Cutting broccoli from my garden to have for dinner

Today I am grateful.....

That I could help my friend and look after her 3 children tonight

To hear that her 8yr old son said, (when told I would be looking after them) Yay, Jane's the best Mum in the world.

That he then apologised to his mum, said she was best, but I was next.

That I am seeing my therapist tomorrow

I think this practice of looking for the things in my life I can be grateful for, despite being in a bad place, is a good thing. It doesn't always feel it....but I hope it's having a good effect.

So...

Today, I feel grateful for

My son
Coffee
dancing to music with my boy, a moment of joy to dwell in
Thanks for this!
