Frequently I struggle to name 3, but always do given enough time.

I thought I'd share my 7 yr old boys(when he is with me) and mine from time to time. I'd love it if you felt you wanted to join in.

Today I'm grateful for:

Mr 7
  • moshi monsters
  • you(talking about me)
  • my whole family
  • light, cause I can see things
  • oh and soccer
Me:
  • coffee
  • your giggles(my sons)
  • a sunny day
  • flowers
What are yours???
Grateful for the beautiful fall leaves so filled with color
Happy to have been with my daughter today
Grateful for the courage to keep moving on.
Thanks for this!

Today I am grateful for:

My T who was able to reply to my email, I realise this is one of his ways of showing care.

The sun that warmed me to my bones, and the ocean that washed away some of my stress, and the beach where I walked myself back to near balanced.

For the magic combination of cabbage, carrots, onion & a bit of mayo that is coleslaw. Nom nom.....

That tomorrow is Wednesday and my boy will be home, where he belongs.
Thanks for this!

In this fallen world, there are things you hope for but never expect to receive because there is no luck and never was, but also because they are things of such great value that not all the good you could do in an entire lifetime would be enough to make you worthy of them. If one of your hopes is fulfilled, it that precious thing ever comes to you, it comes to you as a grace, and every day of your life thereafter, you need to give thanks for that gift.

So Mr 7 is home and I was telling him that I share my gratefulness here, and have mentioned his too. He asked me to not share his, cause 'it's private business Mummy".....so I will honour his request.

Today I am grateful for:

A job no matter how sporadic, every cent counts.

For a sunny spring day

For my gorgeous son and his giggles being home

For coffee, that kept me awake at work after only 4 odd hours sleep
Thanks for this!

I am grateful that I can continue to get help for my headache. I have a doctor who wants to find me real relief.
I am grateful for the smallest of things today; pleasant breezes and cooler temperatures. It means I can be outside gardening again. A simple joy.

For soup

Today I'm grateful for:
An email reply from my T. At least I know she read it, said she knows I'm not well & cared enough to reply.

Children's ibuprofen! My kids have been swapping high fevers. Ugh!

My cell phone which I keep my journal on.

My dad, who made a special trip half way to lend me some stuff.

Fall colored trees that look like a watercolor painting in progress.

Unusually warm weather. How nice

I'm breathing today.

Today I Am Grateful For ...

The dark abyss that swallows me whole sometimes ... Because as I claw my way back up and out of it is when I do some of my best poetry and songwriting!

Thanks for this!

I'm grateful today for:

- my teeth (had some nice compliments at the dentist yesterday)
- my cat
- the cute things that my students can say, including my past ones. One said thank you yesterday when I told her she was a cold-hearted ice queen (after coming in from recess totally cold!) lol. I love that they know my sense of humour and accept it and dish it back!
