Hi PMS, OCD Thoughts, & PTSD

My anxiety and ocd thoughts of my latest traumatic event seem to heighten during or a couple of days before my PMS starts.

Has anyone ever experienced this? If yes, how do you cope......keep yourself from losing it?

Hello Pilatus.
I have this severely at times I had to start taking hormonal balancers for the symptoms. There is a new medication out for what is called PMDD it is like PMS but it is worse and it is treatable at this time with medication. You may want to ask your Dr about whether or not you meet the symptoms of PMDD. (It stands for Premenstrual Dysmorphic Disorder). You can type in PMDD and see if that is correct. I hope things get better for you soon. Soidhonia
