I've been caught "off guard" so many times by "toxic" people..the family of origin was FULL of them. And no I do not wish to share.. I don't think this reflects on me or "makes me weak" in fact I know it doesn't... It's their "weaknesses" that make them sniff me out. And project their ******** onto me. I wonder if they ever think that they may push a good person over the edge, me or someone more "worthy"

I'm so sick of the "health services" in the UK, the "mental health services" are USELESS

Hi Fuzzy... The Skeezyks feels similarly about the mental health services where he lives. It's all just a sham. On the other hand... we have plenty of money for multi-million dollar sports stadiums & all sorts of other goodies! So why am I complaining?

I have no family left, except for my spouse. All things considered... I don't think it's such a bad thing... I'm sorry you continue to struggle. Many healing hugs from me to you...

I am sorry you are going threw this, And it is true that it is hard to find good quality mental health care, I think for myself I stay to myself a lot because I attract toxic people like a magnet, I hope you start feeling better

I don't know why but it seems like because we were abused or traumatized once that we then start to attract toxic people into our lives. I recently had to oust a toxic person from my life who had been a friend for over a decade. And after her toxicity was revealed, the friendship was over just like that. It was an awful ordeal.

I wish there was a better way to tell who was toxic and who was relatively healthy. But it's so impossible. THe toxic ones are so manipulative and charming at first.
