My intrusive thoughts and different sensory flashbacks are really bad. Have been for the past forty-eight hours. I'm more stressed now that I have been in a good ten months since I thought I was going crazy (turned out I was just dealing with PTSD). I can't seem to manage this well and my anxiety isn't allowing for me to sleep, right now. My eyes are heavy, so hopefully that'll change in my favor. If only for an hour, I just want some sleep.

I'm so sorry. If you can, try a hot bath and your most comfortable pajamas? And some soft music? You can make it through this.

It's miserable to be so tired you can hardly stand but so anxious and bothered that you can't sleep.
I just stumbled on something called ASMR videos on YouTube that had a really calming effect on me and helped with my racing thoughts/inability to sleep/negative self talk. I think It's one of those things that you either love or hate but it might be worth a try. Hope it helps a bit |
