Newbie here

I am so glad to have stumbled on this site. Had a horrible car accident few years ago. Multiple surgeries, still in PT and being treated for PTSD. Reading some of your threads makes me feel less alone

PsychCentral is a great place to get information as well as support for mental health issues. The more you post, & reply to other members’ posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus there are social groups you can join & chat rooms where you’ll be able to connect with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) Lots of great stuff! So please keep posting!

P.S. Since you've had all of this physical / medical difficulty as well, I wondered if you are familiar with PsychCentral's sister website: NeuroTalk? (I'm a member there as well.) I know there are members over there who have had similar experiences & may have useful information to share:

Welcome and glad you found us. That must have been some accident. Keep working on that PT can not stress how important that is to keep up, even after you are feeling better. Speaking from surgery experience it's easy to stop the PT when you get to feeling better. But then scar tissue starts forming when you had the surgery and that can be a bear to deal with all over again. So please keep the PT up to keep that area stretched and healthy. Hope you get to feeling better soon.
