Tragedy (pt.2)

I suppose this is an explanation for the poem before it. I guess it's more like a plea or admission of guilt.

Guilt of staying quiet. Guilt of swearing that I'm false and my facade is true. The guilt of staying quiet when it comes to you.

Of all the traumatic experiences and abuse, it is you who takes the cake. You, who took my voice. You, who took my soul. You, took my life.

Now, what was once ambition is now frozen in shame. Shame. That's a funny word isn't it. Implies you did something wrong. The shame I carry is for several things. The shame of staying quiet is what is currently plaguing my mind. The quiet shame, spear headed by denial.

And this is what has driven my tragedy.

Your words prompted me to shed tears on your behalf. Thank you; I had become numb lately. I wish you healing.

When you are challenged this way always keep in mind that often staying quiet is connected to one's lack of ability to "tell". Whatever you are seeing now was simply not available to you in your past when you did not have enough life experience to help you.

I always appreciate your insight, thank you.
