I was hurt emotionally and physically and betrayed so bad by people I loved and people in authority that I find it near impossible to trust anyone anymore. It has gotten to the point where I do not know if I am imagining other people deceiving me or not. Even so called white-lies frustrate me to anger. I am in a crazy relationship now (big surprise, huh?). I cannot figure out if it is really good or really bad. We come from different cultures. She is Indian, but she might as well be from a different planet. It is a strange situation. It is much stranger than fiction. The Indians have taken deception and intrigue to a very high level. Very difficult for a person like me who craves communication, openness, directness and honesty.

I've never been to India. So I wouldn't know anything about this. But it sounds challenging. Good luck sorting it all out.

I would say that most cultures have mastered deception pretty well - or at least that there are people within them that are very dishonest. It's in all of them.

Don't let the actions of some change who you are - they have nothing to do with how you are.

You sound like an interesting guy - what are you doing in India?

Thanks for the kind words...

I am playing it by ear in India.
I improvise and make it up as I go.
I was in Greece for 8 months before coming here.
That was another adventure stranger than fiction.

I never know what will happen next.
I am a researcher, writer, musician, poet, professional hopscotch player and bipolar with a very active left brain that enjoys getting my dominate crazy right brain in lots of trouble...or vice versa.

Both hemispheres of my brain constantly conspire to make mayhem and complicate my life. I try my best to respect and adhere to the law of cause and effect, though sometimes it is impossible to get from point A to point B. Fortunately I have learned to make a meaningful life and I even contribute to the quality of the lives of others around me.

To put it simply: I am a madman who walks the Earth. You know, walk the earth, meet people... get into adventures. Like Caine from "Kung Fu."

And You?

I identify with the trust thing, some of my betrayals were
deep as hell, and so bloody painful! We can't be down on ourselves for being very cautious now;the amount of real
loonies on the planet is enormous,so it is our responsibility to watch out for them . . .or get betrayed AGAIN.
PS I used to love Kung-Fu and Caine too.

Sorry for taking a while to get back to you.

Have never been to India but I used to study Sanskrit a bit. Have been to Indonesia many times - last time was for romantic reasons, shall we say. My God she was a nightmare, although not straight away mind you.

Are you 'attached' to someone there? If not maybe go somewhere else. There are endless beaches out there if you like that sort of thing. ( I do ) Don't let them hurt you too much.
