she laughed at me.
she'snever really been there for me, she hasproblems now andmy family want me to disown her, i can't, i feel too guilty. her friend has stabbed her in the back and the phone was ringingassoon as I came home from my holiday.she was asking me stuff about HER problems, notif I'd had a good holiday.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{Jinny}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} Our dreams are our subconscious working things out and bringing them to the top. Try to write as many of them down as you can.

CANT STOP THE DREAMS

Jinny, try before falling asleep (or resting) and tell yourself that you will change the dream if it becomes bad... say it over and over. You CAN stop the dreams. Keep telling yourself you can. (((hugs)))

There's a type of control we can gain to our dreams, it's called lucid dreaming. I can, while still asleep, realize that I am dreaming and change the outcomes of the dream. Or, I can stop it altogether and find another dream to have.

Don't try hard to do this, as it's one of those things that the harder you try, the farther away it becomes. CANT STOP THE DREAMS

(((hugs)))

Some things I've found that increase such dreaming: going too fast in therapy, covering too much material, dwelling upon the events of the trauma, or constantly being triggered.

CANT STOP THE DREAMS I hope things settle for you soon. This is a common problem, sleep and bad dreams, and a vicious cycle as the less we sleep the more we need sleep and the more likely to have poor sleep and nightmares. CANT STOP THE DREAMS

it's my mum. she is still here, but haunting me. She is getting suspicious of all the excuses for not seeing her. I need to say something, but it'sgiving me stress. My family think it's so easy just to leave her behind, be nasty and let her go. but ican't. it'snot inmy nature.

thanks for your input.

I use to have dreams .. not the same .. but very similar .. had to write my mom and then i took the pages of the letter and as i read each one put it in a little fire i'd built by the shore .. it helped .. long time ago .. and your post reminded me - i may have to do the same with 'other' family ..
Thanks for your post ..
