um.... i dunno. if you find yourself reliving the moment over and over, or experiencing fear around it, and around the thoughts of it replaying in your head, or nighmares from the event, or having general every-day things in life reminding you of the event, you may want to find a trained professional who can help you figure that out and work with it =)

Lots of different things can influence how traumatizing an event is for you. What it takes to cause PTSD is different from one person to another. Katheryn, would you like to tell us a little more about what your experience was and how you are reacting to it?

You can be stressed by nearly anything, surely! PTSD "requires" an element of fearing for your life. I think the site has the definition listed in the disorders area (tab above.)
