I keep flashing back to the times I was branded with a cattle-brander and when I do the marks I receive start burning very painfully again. Is it normal for injuries received as a child to hurt during flashbacks of the event where you received the injury, even if they're very old injuries?

((((hugs))))... I am so very sorry that you went thru this... it is beyond comprenhension.. the pain.....you must be feeling... it just really makes me say owie.. owie owie for you....

For me, with some of the more serious injuries combined with the traumatic event.... yes I re-experience the actual physical pain.

I do go to a person that specializes in "body memory work" - he is a massage therapist with couseling experience...

So.. that is what some of the work is about.. the PTSD... re-experiencing the event... including the pain... and then working thru it.. so that the event and pain disapaites... or hopefully does..

I have had good experiences with it... but it is very difficult work..

(((((hugs)))....

Hey vince, sorry that you are going through this. I am not really sure to be honest but I would imagine it is something like a body flashback. Take care (((hugs)))
