I was a passenger involved in a bad motor vehicle accident about 5 and a half years ago. I am still unable to be a passenger in a car without being very tense and jumpy. I don't trust anyone driving but myself. Should I just try to "get over it"? And if so, how?

Hi there
Welcome to our forums.
Personally I wouldn't "just try to get over it", I would seek some form of therapy/counselling, life is too short to have to feel like this if you don't have to, there is professional help for this sort of thing.
I am glad to hear you have emotionally survived thus far, and also physically, please take care of yourself both ways
Take care now,
"darkeyes"
