my sleep... is just so full... of trauma... over and over and over....

just tired... the waves and waves of nightmares... during the night never stop... one ... after another... after another.... and.. I can't get them to stop....

when... do they stop... will they ever stop.... had... them as long as I can remember... am 52.... and.. sometimes... I wish.. I never had to sleep... life would be so much more peaceful....

I struggle with trying to decide at night .. lately... whether to take the meds to sleep... or stay awake all night....

I know.. no one can help...

Thank you for just letting me say... how discouraging it is....

Sorry Freewill....I've had a few traumatizing ones myself. Sometimes I know certain meds bring about excessive dreaming &
Horrific nightmares.

But I've had them when I don't take meds. I've always had the
Bad "never ending falling, and I awake before hitting ground"

That one is mild though, cuz I've had worse ones too...

Hope you have a goodnight sleep, and no nightmares...

((((((((Freewill)))))))) as somebody who struggles with the same thing i say...if taking the meds at night helps you sleep...and helps you have troublefree sleep too...then please take them...it's too draining otherwise.

*hugs* waves and waves of nightmares.....

p.s. always here for you ok? just pm or e-mail ok?

(((freewill))) If the meds let you sleep, good restorative sleep without nightmares, then take them! Not getting proper rest will compound issues for you. Do you find you can't sleep at night, but can during the day? That's common for PTSD sufferers btw. waves and waves of nightmares.....

waves and waves of nightmares.....

thanks... everyone... the meds allow me to sleep... but my sleep is full of night mares... I get trapped in sleep....

otherwise.. I just stay up... for several nights... and then fall asleep from exhaustion... and still have the night mares...
