Here for the past year I have been having some things going on with me. I feek emotionally numb. Everyday I feel like I am walking in fog kind of like when you first wake up and you have that dizzy not awake yet feeling. And I am really scared and nervous. My old psych thought I had PTSD but she did'nt do anything for it. I was abused as a child physically and mentally. And my house caught on fire and I was trapped under my bed before the neighbor kid got me out. I think mabye all of this is coming back to me. It did'nt bother me before because I was a heavy drinker and smoked pot all the time. Since I quit I have been feeling this way. Any suggestions?

Hi Thunderbear, are you seeing a T?

That's the first suggestion I'd make.

If not, up at the top of the Forum here in PTSD is a list of Grounding Techniques. Maybe some will be helpful to help with the fog/dizziness.

I survived a fire too. I'm sorry you had that happen.

Not only is it terrifying, but you're paranoid for life. Is it Normal???
