I am so sorry you are going through this...

It ran through my mind that it could still be withdrawal from the Effexor and/or the fluoxetine...

Is there anyone you can talk to?
Maybe take a walk and get some fresh air? Anything that doesn't need concentration. Jme, but when I'm having a rough time, if I try and do anything that requires my full attention it ends up frustrating me more.

Sometimes it helps me when I take slow, deep breaths and mentally focus on a favorite place...the ocean does it for me.

Keep posting and let us know how you are, Corine.

Go ahead and scream...I'll put my earplugs in.

Darn, Corine, I'd want to scream if I had fallen and hurt myself...I also have a bad back and it's an itch with a capital B to have one, isn't it?
Is your elbow any better?

It tests my patience when one thing after another happens...without any real time between them. I get really, really antsy when it happens.

I loved it when I was on the fluoxetine but absolutely hated the adjustment to it. Same thing when I switched to Wellbutrin XL. It reminded me of being on a low dose of speed or a high dose of caffeine.

I'm trying to deal with the b/f being sick.. and when a man gets sick you know it even though it may not be that bad.. and then trying to take care of me and my hurting... but oh well such is life......
well I have some fluoxetine but i hate taking anything but maybe I should of..
Cap Thank you so much for being you and just being around for me..

Thank you for sharing...you help me when you do.
I respect your honesty and determination.

A sick man?
I'd rather take care of triplets
Besides, you need to be taking care of your back and let him do as much as he can for himself.
Gosh, he is going to the potty alone isn't he?! Sorry, that was not a nice comment. But it's very close to the truth about how many, not all, but many men get when they are sick.
But we fall into the trap of doing everything for them...
I've done it myself, Corine.

Please do the heat thing for your back and get comfortable while you do it. It might help the elbow, too.
I have a neat set up here. My computer chair is well worn and very comfortable. I make a rice sock and lean back into it. The warmth and position ease some of the pain, and I get to stay on the computer.

Corine, please keep posting. You are important to us and we care about how you are doing...

keep your hair, I'll have Scotty beam you up

At least you are not being ornery...last time my SO (oh, look! I left the B off today) was sick, I told his friend that his recovery was questionable but I would have him call if he had the strength.
What I didn't tell the friend was the question of SOs recovery was based on my not duct-taping his mouth among other things.
