I don't think any feeling is wrong if you have it, but I also don't think it was all that big of a thing for a therapist to leave the items out.

Many moons ago when I worked nights, I had a thunderstorm CD that I played on repeat all day every day so I could sleep. Plus I had room-darkening shades. Both helped!
