"Relationship issues" only seems to measure difficultly within relationships, but ignores difficulty in forming or maintaining them in the first place.

I totally was thinking exactly that too when I was taking the test! I have social phobia and I'm Introverted and have been single most my life and like keeping to myself. It would have been interesting to see what post test tip it had to say for that. I know the test is meant to be taken with a grain of salt but it is comforting to have some guidance on what to possibly focus on to get help if you think the test may have some truth.

I agree with you both. I have BPD and I'm currently in an avoidant phase, but many of the questions assume you're either in a relationship or you aren't. The difficulty getting there in the first place needs to be measured too! I know it's not too serious, but there were a few questions I couldn't really answer honestly!

I think it might include whether or not you are in a relationship (which might indicate an "issue"); remember, it asks a lot of questions where that choice is possible. I know that "eating disorder" includes the initial weight/height BMI rating, not just whether you have an agreed upon formal problem.
But, I believe not being in a relationship because you have difficulty forming or maintaining one would be for anxiety or other reasons; I think that might come out somewhere "else" rather than in relationships (since relationships would be about relationships and if you don't have one. . .)
