..I got a 95 so that is considered average but it also highlighted five major areas (general coping, depression, self-esteem, eating disorders, and borderline traits[?])with the caution symbol and eight minor potential areas to consider. I think a couple questions may be weighted more than I would weight them and I might have dismissed or overestimated the severity in a ? or two. I also think one area can increase potential concerns in another area so maybe if one is resolved the other will be.

Weird about the borderline thing, though. My counseling supervisor years ago said she did not see that in me. I do get angry rather easily though, instead of expressing my feelings with words.

Some of the questions, like those for eating disorders, can be related to things like your weight it asks for up front. If you're over/under weight, you probably, technically, have a problem with food/eating but there's no option to let it know what you are working on or care/don't care about, etc. I always get marked heavily for life events or whatever it is because my childhood was so crummy but all that is taken care of only I can't get rid of having had a crummy childhood :-)

lol dont panic i hit major points for: depression, mania, life coping, eating disorders, dissociation, schizophrenia, borderline, smoking issues , and internet issues all were in the serious concerns list.
But you gotta take it all with a grain of salt. Im not saying its not a good guide but its not accurate just a sort of ballpark estimator.
Nothing beats seeing a true professional that knows you. (or so im told )

I've taken the test twice now... had a 90 the first time, and a 78 the second.
Both tests were ~similar in regards to key issues; I don't remember what my numbers were for the first test, but the second had 1 serious concern (self-esteem, also on the first) and 9 milder concerns.
The self-esteem issue (67) is one that I'm quite aware of, but I was very surprised that my "depression" didn't rank higher (34) since, in my opinion, I fit the standard criteria.

It's making me think that it might actually be beneficial to see a professional at this point. I mean, from past reading, many conditions seem to have several overlapping symptoms.
So in my case, it could be possible that my low self-esteem, combined with the stressful situations in my life could be manifesting as depressed feelings. (Just thinking logically)
Surprisingly, that makes me feel like there just may be some hope after all.

I got an 81. My meds must be working. The areas I was high risk for were no surprise. Eating (overeating), self esteem and OCD.
