I'm not really 'wow'ing so much at the score but at the clarity that came with figuring out where the flaws in my brain lie.
I was a little miffed I got alcohol as my #1 issue even over my 10-year long struggle with anorexia and bulimia when I haven't even been drinking-legal for a whole year. But seeing the high rates in mania, psychosis and dissociation made so MUCH sense. My psychiatrist only ever sees me for 10 mins at a time, and now I feel validated knowing that there could still be things. . . Off. Despite the meds he gives me and that I'm not just a lost cause. So thank you PC :] |

Hi, LornaMorello, and welcome! I am glad we have given you even more hope.
![]() Therapists do meet with their patients up to 45 minutes or more and listen, etc.--unlike psychiatrists who aks questions/talk only to prescribe/adjust medications. ![]() |

I've tried therapy a million times. 1:1, group, IOP programs, IP programs, residential etc, etc, I'm very much over therapy at this point :[ It just gets taxing talking about the same problems over and over, yanno? I think I'll just try to better relay my symptoms to my psychiatrist so he can better medicate me, maybe start making a list so I can make sure I get everything in during such a small time frame |
