So, other than being "fun" test to take, how do you use the results you get?
General Coping Life Events http://tinyurl.com/2gyd7z Depression Anxiety Phobias Self-Esteem Eating Disorders Schizophrenia Dissociation Mania Sexual Issues Relationship Issues Alcohol Drugs Physical Issues http://www.healthpsych.com/ Smoking Issues Gambling Issues Technology Issues http://www.csudh.edu/psych/lrosen.htm Obsessions/Compulsions Posttraumatic Stress Borderline Traits I bolded my top 3 issues and then found articles that looked interesting to me that might help me better understand where I'm coming from and how to help myself with those issues.

I did much the same thing, but what I do is I like to re-do the test every couple of weeks or every month (or everyweek when things are uber stressful) and I keep a record of each score. Not just save the results, but I have like a diary type of thing where I log the indavidual scores of each section that I find relevant - say for me, depression, mania, borderline traits are three which are consistantly high, so I like track how those change in comparison to what's going on with my life and etc etc etc. Since starting T, I've found that a pre-session weekly sanity score helps get me into a frame of mind to talk about how things are going, sort of helping T help me, if you will....

My score now is 22, top issues are physical and ptsd.
I used the quiz as a reality check, a mirror to see how I am doing. This time I got a good reminder that physical issues are my main challenge - I'm disabled with fibromyalgia and other conditions. I also can see how far I've come in working on ptsd and anxiety, I've come a long long way.

I don't use the results. I do the 'test" for curiosity only.
I notice all my scores are higher now than when I first began therapy. I believe it is because I have learned more about myself, my feelings, and I understand much more. |
