Honestly, I wasn't expecting it to be that high... I think I have not been coping as well as I did about a year ago; however, my fiance notes all the time that I am generally a happy person, just that I don't handle stresses in life very well (school stress, end of life issues, unemployment, blah blah blah).
Highest on my list was... Eating Disorders (which they said I should seek counseling for... but I won't because I think it's more marking my tendency to fall to old habits. I guess I am more susceptible because of my mind set but I mean, I have a BMI of 22, so I'm "normal") Self Esteem and... Physical Issues I think those are probably easy enough to work through with the school counselor. |

Dear beutifulxdreamer,
A score between 1-100 is considered 'normal'. Stress is hard to deal with for all of us. ![]() Possum |

(((Possum))) Thanks for that. It's kind of hard for me to decide what normal is sometimes. A lot of my friends handle stress much better than I do. I guess its all just a continuum. We probably fluctuate on this "insanity scale" Sometimes I wish I could kick the butt of whoever invented the word "normal." At least in reference to people any way... I think it also depends on the person. I guess you could sort of say that 68 is my baseline since I haven't taken the test before - but in reading all that it had to say, I feel I've been better at coping in the past. Kind of like the global assessment score they assign to people when they are inpatients. It's sort of a score to determine their level of functioning, the lower the score, the lower the level of coping/functioning. For some one who is regularly functioning at 25, 40 seems really good. But if some one who functions at a 75 normally drops to 40, they are obviously having some significant issues that they need help dealing with. How high can you score on this test? -Thanks again! ![]() ~BxD |
