Normal dosage is 20mg to 40mg for Celexa. The possibility exists for having withdrawal symptoms (HA, nausea, diarrhea) if it is suddenly stopped. Lexapro is the 'improved' version of Celexa (minus the ineffective molecules).

It is unlikely that a person could overdose on 15 of 0.25mg Xanax. However depending on what else they took it with (alcohol, other sedatives, narcotics) and their medical problems (COPD, liver disease, etc.) it might be possible. The average healthy adult would probably just be really sleepy for a while. I've seen people take incredible amounts of benzos with no ill effects once they woke up in the ICU. Obviously I don't suggest trying it. For a normal adult a lethal overdosage of Xanax would be pretty hard to do by accident.

My doctor wants to increase my Celexa to 60 mg...I want to stop taking it all together.
Is 60 mg too much celexa?
The only way I could get out of seeing her was by letting her call in a script so I could start taking the 60mg...but I don't want to take it period.
I am also on blood pressure medicine called Enapril. She wanted to also put me on Diatzen CD but the side effects of that are depression, pyschosis, halluncinations and abnormal dreams....
This is my regular doctor. I do not see a Psyc Doc.

I have taken celexa and xanax at the same time. They work well together. I too, warn about taking 15 xanax!!! As the above post states, most ppl are fine as soon as they wake up in ICU..
