Been on it for several yrs and it has helped with OCD; but now I feel that it's wearing off and also giving me muscular pain in isolated areas. Anyone else have this happen? What is the option? Taking 80 mg that I'm told is already a hi dose.........any input would be greatly appreciated take car

A lot of ssri meds give muscle and jiont pain , its a side effect. 80mg is a lot i must admit. Carnt you ask your doctor switch to lexapro the newer vertion of celexa , the doseing is different 80mg celexa is 40mg lexapro , my doc would cross tapper in 1 day say to 30mg lexapro and see if thats to little or to much.
