I just started citalopram on Wednesday. Within about an hour of taking it, I start to get pretty drowsy. This didn't happen with Celexa. Has anyone else who made the switch to generic noticed this difference?

Now that I know it makes me sleepy, I'm going to move the time I take it to closer to bedtime. I don't have a drug hangover when I wake up, so this new side effect could actually be a good thing.

I take that and I get sleepy, but then, I'm on other meds too.

I always took it at bed time. So that would be a good idea to switch to taking it then.
