Okay, so last night I go to bed at 10:30, I wake up at 7:30, so that's 9 hours of sleep, and all day today I'm still tired. I've heard of being tired from too much sleep, but then some nights I'll go to bed at 12:30 and wake up at 7:30, for 7 hours sleep. Or even go to bed at 11:30 and wake up at 7:30 for 8 hours sleep. What is it? I'm always tired. I'm falling asleep in the mornings at school, then wanting to pass out while I work in the afternoons. I just hate being so tired all the time. sleepy sleepy sleepy

You should talk to a doctor, especially if this is new. It might be dietary, as well. If you find nothing from a regular doctor, you should go to a sleep disorder clinic.

Probably is dietary, although I'd never be able to get to a doctor. Parents, ehh. Anyways between work and school and home (very rarely at home), I dont eat much. I dont eat at school cause all my money is on my atm card, and no luck there at public highschool. I'll eat at work (I work at Subway) cause it's free, and wont eat again until I'm back at work. In the off-chance that I have a day off I might have something, but if my parents dont cook or order something, not usually do I eat at home. Anyways..I'm running late for school now, ty Maven for response.

I can sympathize, Kay. No matter how much I sleep, I still get tired. I strongly suspect I have sleep apnea like my mom did -- I've got to get to a doctor for that. Do you think sleep apnea is a possibility for you?

I got this off webmd.com as one of the symptoms and that describes me pretty much. I have horrible mood swings, especially at work.

This too. But everything else doesnt quite fit me.

Anyways, for now I'll just bear with it. I do have a day off today so I'll go home and go to sleep.

Ask your doc to run a test for blood sugar issues that would not be out of the question at all...Good luck
