I take 3 x 15 mg in the morning. It helps me focus until around 3:00, then it just wears off. I do get a lot of work done in the morning. Doesn't wake me up like Adderall did, but it serves it's purpose.

Whatever you do, don't share it with other people.

I would be careful. Take a low dosage to start off with. When you mix the two it can make your blood pressure go up too high (my nose started bleeding). You might want to ask the pharmacist before you mix anything with it.

Hi Rachie,

Take the Dextrroamphetamine as prescribed... w/o deviation- don't modify the dosage on your own. Some people will take it only for work or when necessary and some MD's will permit this; however, consult with your MD to be sure. Mixing Dexedrine with decongestants, as QueenAccountant stated, is not a good idea. Both decongestants (found in most cold medicines) and simulant meds cause increases in blood pressure and stimulants can especially cause an increase in heart rate (in addition to weight loss). Should you need cold medicine, talk to your pharmacist (most are more knowledgeable than MD's on meds) or MD first.

Good luck and I hope this helps,
Anush
